Having completed the French cavalry unit I wanted to do a unit using the Crann Tara Irish Piquets. I’ve had the full unit sat primed and ready to go since sometime last year so I dusted them off and made a good start. First twelve done and next twelve started. Even started the six command stand figures.
Then last week I lost the will. Various stuff going on (not all good) and I just couldn’t be bothered. But tonight I ascended the stairs to the attic, varnished the completed figures and stuck them to their bases, and did a little on the command figures.
Not a major effort but a start. And tomorrow I’m back to work after recent health issues and not really looking forward to it…
But next weekend is Salute! I haven’t been since 2014 as part of my 50th birthday activities. So I’m going this year as I hit 60 in May.
