My only figure purchase at the recent (slightly disappointing) Vapnartak Show were some Black Scorpion Privateers. I’d asked for packs 1 and 2 and only noticed when I got home that there were 2 of pack 1 on the bag. Quick email and a replacement pack was sent out. Outstanding service!
These are resin figures which I’m not usually a fan of but the Privateers are more like armed civilians than Pirates so for my C18th ImagiNation shenanigans they seemed ideal.
Painted them in 2 batches of 4. Not a fan of plastic (or any) slotta bases so used some 2mm MDF ones from Warbases. I know I could have sliced off the tab and just glued them to a washer but I’d probably have removed a foot by accident…
Enjoyed painting them and may be tempted by some more.
And now need to decide what next. Again…

Been reading through the blog as well, it’s nice to see how it’s developed and read up on the Ayton games as well!
