Bit of an update…

This week really needs a bit of an update… The last few weeks(months) at work have been pretty shit with much twattery going on. But there was an end in sight. Last weekend saw a big system migration to cloud after a week of manic work to get enough working to be viable. And then Monday and Tuesday were a tad stressful as all (well… most) of the still broken bits were fixed…

And then on Wednesday at 11am…I RETIRED! Put in for Voluntary Redundancy before Christmas, was offered and accepted it. Technically my last day is 31st March but various leave needed using. And basically I’m done. And it couldn’t come soon enough…

So these last few days should have been great and a new start. But we’re looking after an old dog for ten days. Old. And prone to the shits. Every morning has been a joy… So it’s kind of taken the shine off a momentous new beginning. But from next Tuesday I’ll be proper free!

Probably…

I have still managed some hobby time and finished the refurb on another four 6mm units. Two Swiss and two French. Brings the total to eight and a gun.

Now I really need to get a game on the table…

And over on the Lead Adventure Forum someone highlighted a little known (to me) range of C17th/Fae figures called Albion Bleeding. A few nice ‘civilian’ type figures which I’ve ordered and will be next in the painting queue.

So there we have it. A rather significant week. And some hobby progress…
